Job Description

The FMCG client is seeking a skilled Finance Manager, FP&A to join their team and drive financial strategy and insights across the region.

Job Description: As the Finance Manager, FP&A, you will be instrumental in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support the business objectives. Despite the title, able to work as individual contributor to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring robust financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and regular KPI reports.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Provide actionable insights to drive business performance and support decision-making processes.

  • Coach a lean FP&A team, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather data and insights for comprehensive financial planning and analysis.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.

  • Execute additional ad hoc duties as required to support the finance function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; Qualified CPA.

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in finance/accounting, with a focus on FP&A.

  • Prior Fashion/FMCG/Retail industry experience (open to local or international companies experience)

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage different stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in financial software such as Oracle, SAP or other, as well as other standard FA tools

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
