Company Overview: The client is a vendor of storage, server, and AI server solutions. The hiring manager is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineering Support Engineer to join the team in Taiwan and support all Enterprise customers in Hong Kong and Taiwan region.
Job Description: As a Field Engineering Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and maintenance of our storage, server, and AI server products. You will provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for our customers, ensuring their systems operate efficiently and effectively. If necessary, you will also carry out Channel Technical Enablement activities, providing support and training to our channel partners. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will be essential in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration: Install and configure storage, server, and AI server systems at customer sites.
Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to ensure optimal system performance.
Customer Training: Provide training and support to customer personnel on the operation and maintenance of our products.
Channel Technical Enablement: Support and train channel partners, ensuring they are equipped to deliver our solutions effectively.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, issues, and resolutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and support teams to ensure customer and partner needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
Travel: Travel to customer and partner sites within the Hong Kong and Taiwan region as required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in field engineering, technical support, or a similar role, preferably within the storage, server, or AI server industry.
Strong technical knowledge of storage, server, and AI server systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese is also a plus.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Willingness to travel within the Hong Kong and Taiwan region.
